The purpose of the Missions Ministry Team is to serve and equip Cumberland Presbyterian congregations and judicatories in pursuing God’s mission of redemption and reconciliation. Specifically, the Missions Ministry Team facilitates those phases of the Church’s mission which are concerned with outreach in terms of evangelism and the establishing of congregations, and other means of Christian witness in the USA and around the world.

Here you will find a poster, and eight "Minutes for Missions," one for each Sunday of the season beginning with Easter (April 8) and continuing through Pentecost (May 27). Pre-Assembly Immigration Forum, Monday morning, June 18, 2012.
If you’re coming to the meeting of General Assembly and Convention in Florence, AL, this June, you’re invited to a Pre-Assembly Immigration Forum sponsored by the Missions Ministry Team. Through our cross-culture ministry, the Cumberland Presbyterian Church is growing as recent immigrants help form new congregations, serve as ordained CP pastors and elders, and contribute to presbyterial and denominational life. Under the direction of Milton Ortiz and George Estes, the forum will offer a hands-on immigration game for fun and serious reflection, provide information about current US immigration law, and hear the real-life stories of Cumberland Presbyterian leaders who work with this every day. There will also be an opportunity for prayer and praise in witness and solidarity with Hispanic CPs.
