Make plans now to attend the annual Women's Ministry Convention to
be held in Florence, AL, June 19-21, 2012. We will be sharing a theme
and focus with the General Assembly this year - Meeting People Where They Are, based on 1 Corinthians 9:22b-23 (NLT) - I
try to find common ground with everyone; doing everything I can to save
some. I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its
blessings.
During the gathering women will have the opportunity to explore ways
to share the love of Jesus with people in a wide variety of settings.
We will partner with Safe Place of Northwest Alabama (a domestic
violence shelter) for an outreach of "wish list" items. RheAnn White
will be our keynote speaker and Chuck Brown will lead music as well as
direct a Convention Choir this year. There will be a wide variety of
focus groups to choose from where you will explore what it means to meet
people where they are and how to do it. So see - there is too much to
miss this year.
